First DecisionAfter much deliberation between Sandy and myself, we determined that canned Web sites were not for us. We needed a brand new look and feel for our organization, a site that allowed us to maintain the entire Web and Blog content, plus the physical layout necessary to remain current with todays Social networking.
After many hour of research we decided to utilize Squarespace www.squarespace.com a fully hosted, completely managed environment. It provides us with full control over our content and site customization. With customizable photo galleries and Lightbox integration, maintaing image resizing is simply a breeze. Not to mention the seamless integration of Florida Digital Gallery’s blog and Web Site all on one platform. Lastly the Social networking integration and vast amount of “plug in’s” available provide powerful analytics for viewing traffic and behavior of our visitors.
This all well and good, but now do we perform the task of programing and bringing this all together. We have the ability between the two of us to take on this task, however our workload and time spent away from our core competencies of photography didn't make business sense. Google to the rescue, up pops Cloudy Reason www.cloudyreason.com located in Boca Raton, Florida. After checking four references including other programing organization of Squarespace, the focus was on them.
I emailed Michele Baer and requested a personal phone consultation. Within twenty four hours we caught up with each other, our conversation was very insightful and incredibly informative. Make know mistake these four individuals that formulate this company are a cut above everyone else. They live by the mantra of “Good Design is honest, useful, unobtrusive and long lasting”. Sandy and I are hear to tell you they mean what they say!
Next step was meeting Gerritt Baer the son of Michele, this took place with Sandy and myself. Sandy took the lead and time to layout the basics of our conceptual Web site and then the dialogue began. Gerritt is very laid back and clearly understands Squarespace programing, but most importantly he can articulate on all of the newest functionalities of Web and Blog development. What a pleasure, how refreshing working as a collaborative effort building Florida Digital Gallery’ s new sites. Cloudy Reason has deep knowledge in Web and Blog design they communicate very quickly the do’s and don’ts of the intended execution of their work. For a small business like ours this is invaluable information, and produces great end results. We highly recommend the team of Cloudy Reason and sincerly thank them for all their guidance and conscientious efforts in development of Florida Digital Gallery’ s new Web and Blog sites. Our clients love our new sites and we are already receiving new inquires to our services.

Terry Klein, contacted Florida Digital Gallery for a exclusive studio photo session to capture Sofia for the Fort Lauderdale's Children Ballet Theatre program book, Coppelia. Sofia has studied ballet for over 6 years and is very passionate about the art of ballet. This two hour photo session captured both the classical along with some creative movements.
We found Sofia very graceful and incredibly focused, but most importantly she knows how to have fun and strike a pose! Mrs. Klein enjoyed the end results and will share some of these wonderful photos with family and friends.
Florida Digital Gallery always enjoys photographing fun and delightful children of all ages.

To say that Hanna has spirit is an understatement. It is always a challenge photographing a 16 pound dog on a product table.
Hanna was such a trooper, posing as if she was a runway model. Hanna’s beautiful course black hair, plus a very pink tummy worked well against a white back drop. Cindy DeMichele, the dogs owner was thrilled with Sandy and my photographic results.
Toward the end of our session Hanna became a bit bashful with the flashing Pro-photo lights but we accomplished our task, over thirty pictures taken with a pristine look and feel.
Much thanks to Cindy & Rich for trusting us with their loved one.
