After much deliberation between Sandy and myself, we determined that canned Web sites were not for us. We needed a brand new look and feel for our organization, a site that allowed us to maintain the entire Web and Blog content, plus the physical layout necessary to remain current with todays Social networking.

Second Decision

After many hour of research we decided to utilize Squarespace www.squarespace.com a fully hosted, completely managed environment. It provides us with full control over our content and site customization. With customizable photo galleries and Lightbox integration, maintaing image resizing is simply a breeze. Not to mention the seamless integration of Florida Digital Gallery’s blog and Web Site all on one platform. Lastly the Social networking integration and vast amount of “plug in’s” available provide powerful analytics for viewing traffic and behavior of our visitors.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://fdgblog.com/blog/2009/12/2/imaging-usa-show-expo.html"><rss:title>Imaging USA show & Expo</rss:title><rss:link>http://fdgblog.com/blog/2009/12/2/imaging-usa-show-expo.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Out & About</dc:subject>

Sandy will closely review all new wedding album designs new proofing concepts along with a myriad of other graphic ideas for the ever expanding Signature Series of FDG product portfolio. We will both attend eight photographic schools and major trade events.

Ed & Sandy will meet with their affiliate organizations such as WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) & FPP (Florida Professional Photographers) & PPA (Professional Photographers of America.
Terry Klein, contacted Florida Digital Gallery for a exclusive studio photo session to capture Sofia for the Fort Lauderdale's Children Ballet Theatre program book, Coppelia. Sofia has studied ballet for over 6 years and is very passionate about the art of ballet. This two hour photo session captured both the classical along with some creative movements.

We found Sofia very graceful and incredibly focused, but most importantly she knows how to have fun and strike a pose! Mrs. Klein enjoyed the end results and will share some of these wonderful photos with family and friends.

Florida Digital Gallery always enjoys photographing fun and delightful children of all ages.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://fdgblog.com/blog/2009/11/9/happy-hanna.html"><rss:title>Happy Hanna</rss:title><rss:link>http://fdgblog.com/blog/2009/11/9/happy-hanna.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Pets</dc:subject>

To say that Hanna has spirit is an understatement. It is always a challenge photographing a 16 pound dog on a product table.

Hanna was such a trooper, posing as if she was a runway model. Hanna’s beautiful course black hair, plus a very pink tummy worked well against a white back drop. Cindy DeMichele, the dogs owner was thrilled with Sandy and my photographic results.

Toward the end of our session Hanna became a bit bashful with the flashing Pro-photo lights but we accomplished our task, over thirty pictures taken with a pristine look and feel.

Much thanks to Cindy & Rich for trusting us with their loved one.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
